The concept was born in 2016 by former college roommates Jamie Burrow and Andrew Meirer. As hospitality veterans with young families, they wanted a venture that avoided typical late-night industry hours. Inspired by their love of family-friendly daytime dining and vacation breakfasts paired with great adult beverages, they created Early Bird. After identifying a gap in the Omaha market for a strong brunch concept, they opened our highly successful first location in late 2017 in the Blackstone Neighborhood.
